Yesterday I observed below error when accessing YouTube via my tablet:

I had experienced related errors:

  1. January 2017: Youtube 500 Internal Server Error
  2. May 2017: Youtube 500 Internal Server Error

For Facebook and WordPress I had observed:

  1. June 2014: Facebook Was Down on 19-Jun-2014
  2. March 2019: WordPress.com down for a few minutes

It reminds that even multi-million-dollar companies fail at seemingly simple web-server issues.

Added 12-Sep-2021: Lima-City also showed trouble serving ordinary HTML pages.

Added 05-Oct-2021: Facebook is down for five hours (!). A good explanation is here: Understanding How Facebook Disappeared from the Internet.

Added 28-Apr-2023: YouTube showed a message "Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten", English translation "An Error Occurred".

Added 25-May-2023: Again, YouTube showed below error message. "Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten".

I had experienced many of these error before when using https://translate.google.com.

Added 27-Jun-2023: This error occured again, making YouTube unusable.

Added 13-Jul-2024: Xing reports "Server connection failed" multiple times.
